Rice Kanji Recipe (Akki Ganji recipe)
Rice Kanji is a natural homemade probiotic with rice, water, and homemade curds ( dahi ). This is a good old traditional recipe for a healthy gut.
Preparation Time – 5 -10 Minutes
Cooking Time – 20 – 30 Minutes
Rice Kanji Ingredients
Ingredients | gm/cup/teaspoon/tablespoon |

Fenugreek Seeds | 1/2 teaspoon |
Raw Rice | 1/2 cup |
Curry Leaf | 10-15 leaf |
Curd | 1 cup |
Ginger | 10gms |
Salt | depend on taste |
Method – Step By Step Picture Of Rice Kanji
Step 1
Roast the fenugreek seeds for about 2 min
Step 2
Add 4 Cups of Water ( raw rice )
Step 3
Add rice and salt to taste
Add finely chopped ginger
Add curry leaves and mix them all
Step 4
Let it cook for 15 min – between 5-7 whistles
Step 5
Churn the curd to break its set form (should remains to think)
Step 6
Add curd immediately to the mixture (stir slowly)
Note: Adjust the Rice Water Ratio per the Rice Variety you use for Kanji.
